A clearer bookkeeping handoff for your clients.
When inaccurate balances or overdue reconciliations delay your work, Clarity can discuss a separately scoped QuickBooks cleanup with your client. You retain the tax and advisory relationship.
Discuss a cleanup referral →When a referral makes sense
- Bank or credit card accounts are several months behind.
- Unexplained balances or categorization errors need investigation.
- Your client needs organized bookkeeping reports and supporting detail before tax preparation.
A scope agreed before work begins
We identify the entity, software, periods, accounts, missing records, requested reporting basis, and deadline. The proposal states deliverables, exclusions, and the price before cleanup begins. We discuss realistic timing after reviewing the available records.
The first conversation is free. An optional $49 focused diagnostic and any cleanup work are separately agreed paid services.
What the handoff can include
- Profit and loss, balance sheet, and general ledger for the agreed period.
- Reconciliation reports and a record of the corrections completed.
- Supporting detail and a concise list of unresolved questions or missing records.
Deliverables depend on the agreed scope. Unresolved accounts are clearly identified. Tax treatment and changes affecting filed returns are coordinated with the client's tax professional.
How to introduce a client
Send your client this page or invite them to book a free assessment. With their permission, introduce the bookkeeping issue, software, affected period, and deadline by email to charlesnutter2010@gmail.com. Secure access and document sharing are arranged separately.
Clarity provides bookkeeping cleanup and financial preparation. Your CPA continues to handle tax advice and filing.
